Who We Are

Premier Care Home Services Inc. was founded January 2004 under the joint ownership of Shirley Hinson and Josephine Taylor. Josephine brought with her the many years of experience as a Nurse working with critically ill children and Shirley, her valuable insight and judgment that come with several years of a career in the corporate sector. Both have a clear understanding of compassion and empowerment, each of them having been raised in families where a member of the family had to cope with disability and health challenges.

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy is to be the oasis when the journey of life takes us through ‘desert’ days and sometimes years. Very often these challenging experiences rather paradoxically, have the potential to build us up depending on how they are embraced. It is in recognition of this that Premier Care Home Services provides support care services that are designed to put a face of compassion to professional care while empowering the persons we serve to live life to the fullest.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to give the support and respect needed to empower you to achieve your goals and full potential.

Our Services

We provide support care for people in group home settings. Most of the people we serve have chronic medical conditions and are physically disabled. The services and level of care and commitment we provide give them the support needed so that they can be medically stable enough to pursue their goals. Beyond that, we also support them in various ways that enable them to be more engaged within their communities and families.

We salute families that have the resources to take care of their loved ones at home themselves. However we are also aware that there are times when certain situations arise that do call for caregivers to be away. We provide respite services to offer these families that oasis for their family member whenever we have empty beds available.

We also recognize the preference of some people to remain in their homes and communities while coping with illnesses and disabilities, as such we are in the process of expanding our operations to provide in-home services and our website will be updated with that information in the very near future.
